Fixed Width xHTML

The use of <pre> tags and 
width specific style properties
is acceptable, but remember that
these pages will be displayed
in 'user selected' sizes:

  240 pixels wide (small pda)
  320 pixels wide (large pda)
  420 pixels wide (small)

Thus, fixed size tables, div's,
images, etc. should be set to no
larger than approx. 230 pixels
wide in order for others to view
them 'full screen'.

You may also use this reduced margin and padding div for paragraphs. We use it on the site to make a more compact presentation for small screen devices.

Please note, this is a simple xHTML editor. It should be sufficient for most site user tasks, given the fact that these pages are designed to work on PDA's and other small screen devices. Complex xhtml should be used sparingly and can be generated in a real xhtml editor, then entered via a copy/paste to our editor's 'textmode' window.
